Optional. Your coordinates stay on the server and are never sent to Seeker devices. They are used only to calculate supported GPS-assisted answers.
π GPS buttons are optional. The server calculates the answer and does not reveal the Hider's coordinates.
Objective: one player is the Hider. Everyone else are Seekers. The Hider disappears using public transport and chooses an Anchor. Seekers use Investigation questions to work out where they are.
The Anchor must be a railway station, Metrolink stop, or nominated bus station/interchange. Once the head start ends, the Hider must remain within the configured Hide Zone radius around the Anchor.
National Rail, Metrolink, scheduled buses and walking are allowed. Cars, taxis, bikes and lifts from friends are not.
Seekers ask one Investigation question at a time. The Hider answers truthfully. Once answered, the question is consumed and the Hider earns the printed Chaos Points (CP). GPS-assisted questions are optional and reveal only the calculated answer.
The Hider spends CP on Chaos cards to inconvenience the Seekers. Timed cards count down in the app. Chaos cards never override safety, transport rules or common sense.
Evidence photos/audio are captured after the question is asked and delivered through the game. Avoid deliberately including obvious identifying text unless required.
When Seekers believe they have reached the Anchor, they enter Hunt Mode. Normal Investigation questions stop and Hunt clues take over.
The round score is the time from RELEASE THE SEEKERS until FOUND YOU, capped at the configured maximum. Everyone gets a turn hiding; longest cumulative hiding time wins.
No challenge ever requires unsafe behaviour. Do not trespass, cross roads unsafely, enter restricted transport areas, run for closing doors, or hide somewhere likely to cause concern.
