It's RAINING
The summer of 2026 has been one of the driest and warmest ever. My little weather station recorded a peak temperature of 34.7C (26th June @1445) and only 15.7mm of rain since 6th July. 5.3mm of those 15.7mm fell during this quick downpour.
We don't have any water use restrictions round by us, but great chunks of the rest of the UK are experiencing hosepipe bans and some even getting bottled water delivered.
