I've been in Amsterdam with work this week. We're a Cisco partner and the event was the Cisco PVT (Partner Virtual Team) where they share updates and stories etc. There's a micro brewery out the front of the office complex, on the second day there was an after work soiree, few drinks, some snack food and some time to mingle and chat (the photo).
I stayed outside of Amsterdam, by the Amstel river. I stuck local to the hotel each evening, the river was great at night, much cooler and 3 beautiful sunsets. After work on Wednesday I stayed on the metro and went into town to get some souvenirs for the kids (and Mrs T). Amsterdam was very hot and busy, full of baked tourists bumbling about regretting eating that whole space cake. I got the souvenirs and headed back to the hotel.
I left early o'clock on Monday and got home late o'clock on Thursday. Thursday happened to be my birthday, at work you get your birthday (or a day close by) off, so I'm having a nice 3-day weekend.
