Hot Water
Friday last week, the old boiler boiled its last bit of water. The plumber had been the week before to fix an intermittent fault that's been happening for years, but has gradually been getting worse. Obviously when he was here it didn't do the fault. Our thoughts were we can chase the fault or just replace it. The old one is 17+ years old, so it's well outside of it's normal service life. We booked him to come back towards the end of March to replace it. Friday rolled round, and no matter what we did, it wouldn't light. We tried all day on Friday & messaged the plumber on Saturday. He came yesterday and replaced it. House is toasty warm again. Happy days. There's a bit of tidying up work required to hide the pipes and filter up top, but that's a job for weekend Mark.
