Vistula River
The view of the Vistula River from the Tyniec Benedictine Abbey. We called here on the way to Energylandia. We left the hotel in Krakow and stopped at the Abbey for a couple of hours. The tour of the Abbey was great. It's the oldest monastery in Poland, established in 1044. The monks on site are famous for their book decorating. There's a museum on site that shows examples of the monks work. The tour takes you round the Abbey and finishes with a visit into the baroque Church.
